Invisalign means “invisible aligner”—a clear tray for straightening teeth. Modern orthodontic technology uses a custom-made series of aligners to move misaligned teeth into place. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic. You no longer need to worry about people looking at your mouth or teeth while communicating with them.
According to dental experts, most people who wear traditional braces complain about eating, brushing and flossing. With brackets and wires in the mouth, it’s difficult to feel comfortable. Invisalign braces completely overcome the obstacles and difficulties, because they are made of clear plastic and are removable—so you can eat whatever you want, and still clean your teeth easily. These strengths also help to restrict cavities and gingivitis, etc.

Invisalign works effectively and quickly and save you treatment time.
Patients wear aligner trays created specifically for them every two weeks from 20–22 hours per day, throughout the entire treatment. After changing to a new tray, you will be able to see how much closer your teeth are.
To monitor your progress, you will also have occasional check ups with your doctor—usually only every 6–8 weeks or so. Sometimes, the doctor will require you to use attachments (such as buttons) to help the teeth move more quickly.
Does Invisalign work for all ages?
Most people are candidates for this method, including teenagers and adults—but it’s not suitable for everyone. It only works with treatments where the teeth are slightly crooked or misaligned. You will need to consult your dentist to find out if it is right for you.
